SEO get together 2 9, 2015

Yeah so we got together again.

The cast was a little bit different this time but it was definitely more engaging. A lot has happened since our last meet up. Jason and JP improved in their operations and is improving their stuff this year on customer acquisition and accounts management, Sam is juggling a lot of things in his plate (as always), I met Bingo and finally got to talk with Arvin, JJ was also there with his customized Mazda 3.

Me?

Well let’s see. I got married, had a new baby boy, moved in to Quezon City, started up Qeryz, got invited to several other start-ups for equity, and grew SEO Hacker to a team of 20 plus in-house people. Looking back, it’s a lot to take in especially since all that happened since our last get together in Blackwood Bar and Grill.

I could almost say that the free flowing beer was a catalyst to the free flowing ideas floating around the table through our discussions. But nothing was as heavy as the steaks and burgers we were chomping up.

It was light and fun – nothing too serious or heavy on SEO. Just a casual “how you doin'” get together stuff.

We’re doing another one this Wednesday. I’m still unsure as to where – probably the same place. I hope I get to drop in and join again.

In any case, it’s really good to have good friends in the industry. I’ve learned a lot today from brilliant minds and I hope I brought value to the discussion as well.
