Happiness or fulfillment

In life, enemy of the good is rarely the bad.

The enemy of the good is often the best.

The reason behind this is the good is easier to attain with and easier to settle with.

The best takes more time, more effort and more LIFE out of us.

And so we commit perhaps the worst trade of our lives – settling for what’s good instead of what’s best.

Happiness is good.
Fulfillment is priceless.

Some people look for happiness – temporary and fleeting – because it is an emotion. A state of feeling.

This is why many people jump from one decision to another. Hop from one bar to another. Skip from one group of friends to another.

This is also why some people suddenly decide to quit when the going gets tough – and miss the best life they could have had.

Some people are in pursuit of fulfillment – an endeavor that fills the soul and lasts a lifetime. Fulfillment goes deeper beyond emotions – it anchors in the deepest recesses of your spirit.

There are few people who let go of happiness to pursue fulfillment but those who do find life more meaningful, rewarding and purposeful.

The thing is, going after fulfillment is extremely difficult.

It takes years and years of building relationships, environments, mindsets, work ethic, skill, and vision.

We at SEO Hacker are after fulfillment. This is why we think differently. We are in pursuit of a purpose and a vision – and we never tell you that it is easy.

And those people who think alike – and are alike – are the people with whom we will journey with in pursuit of the most fulfilling life.

Happiness is about the self – I, I, I – I must be happy. I must move on because I’m not happy here anymore. I must have less work, I must have more pay, I must have more benefits, and the list goes on and it never ends.

Just like how you buy something you thought you really want, only to find out that after you have received it, the feeling of happiness does not even last a couple of months.

Fulfillment is about giving and serving others. It is about finding meaning in life alongside comrades – people you will willingly call a brother or a sister. As a team, the natural result of the journey to fulfillment is loyalty and gratitude.

Rarely will you be happy in a tough and difficult time. But you will always come out fulfilled when you get through it.

This 2022 is all about the fulfillment of our soul. Serving others. Giving more of ourselves not in exchange for anything – but because we know it’s the right thing to do.

The self-centeredness of happiness often leaves a legacy of selfishness and regret.
He or she left because he/she was not happy here and wanted to be happy elsewhere – hence he/she has made all our workload heavier and left our lives worse than before.

Fulfillment leaves nothing behind. We look out for each other and serve one another. We grow each other by working together. Growth does not come in times of comfort but of pain, of difficulty and of adversity. It is in these times that we have to fight as brothers and sisters and come out winning and fulfilled.

Here is a thought I’d like to leave you with: You can be happy and sad or empty at the same time but never can the same be said when you are fulfilled. You can be fulfilled and tired but never fulfilled and empty.

This year, I hope that we will all realize that happiness is not something to behold. It is nice to be happy – but it does not last. And I also hope that we will all find fulfillment carrying each other through and serving each other to the best of who we are.
