Henson, Anton and Me

Hurts like hell.

Yes, on that specific area.

But there’s that small feeling of success I just can’t shrug off.

My first time using a road bike owned by a good friend of mine is nothing short of awesome. The thrill of the adventure and the chill morning breeze on the downhill slope was well worth the experience (and pain!).

We started from my place all the way to SM Molino via Daang Hari then we made our way back.

The uphill slopes were killing me! My companions didn’t even seem to flinch!

Someday I’ll be at that level too. Hopefully.

For now I’ll have to celebrate the fact that I could still bike and it won’t hurt as much the next time.

Here’s the road we’ve traveled today:

Ramirez to Daang Hari Road - Google MapsWe started out around 6am and we were able to get back by 8am. A good 2 hour bike.

Anton tells me that the usual hard ride lasts 3 hours. Maybe more.

We’ll ride again Monday at Nuvali. That’ll help me know whether I should buy my own bike already.

Until then, I’ll have to study up on proper biking and maintenance.
