Accepting from God

I’m at the point in my life where everything seems as if it’s going well – generally. I have my ups and downs but I could honestly say I’m very, very blessed.

I have a wonderful family. I love my work – and my passions suit the market. I’m working with really good teams on my businesses – and we are growing together.

I couldn’t ask for more.

I’m reading the Bible for the 12th time now and I’m at the book of Job. Early on in Job’s story, we stumble upon his disaster from Satan (a test allowed by God). And his wife tells Job to curse God and die.

“But Job replied, “You talk like a foolish woman. Should we accept only good things from the hand of God and never anything bad?” So in all this, Job said nothing wrong.” – Job 2:10

Job is arguably the man with utmost integrity during his time. He is also extremely rich and successful.

I can’t help but think about having to face trials and perhaps even disaster someday. How am I going to react?

Thank God for Job – he has led the way.
