gossip is not ok

“When a crime is not punished quickly, people feel it is safe to do wrong.” – Ecclesiastes 8:11

I was asked a question during the Breaking Through the Crisis webinar that mentioned their workplace breaking down with rampant gossip even when they would praise and congratulate exemplary workers.

While praising other people for their great work, competence and character, you cannot turn a blind eye to the wrong things.

If gossip goes unpunished in your organization, people will think it’s ok. And since gossip is insidious and dangerously contagious, it will spread like wildfire.

In the end, it will eat up and burn everything you have worked so hard to achieve.
