2017-goals

“Bye papa.”

That’s what my 2-year-old son, Leo said after I dressed up to leave. I didn’t even tell him good-bye yet. And yet he knows I’m leaving.

A child only knows what you’re about to do if you’ve routinely done it before.

That’s when I knew – I was too often away from my family.

My heart sank.

I love my family more than anything in this world. I want to maximize my time with them whenever possible. And it can be possible.

You see, I’m the only guy running the sales in my company. I do the pitch, follow-ups and closing. I have 24 people on operations and I’m the only guy doing all the sales.

It doesn’t have to be that way – but I need certain preparations in order for me to fully, economically and efficiently train my first batch of sales people.

My biggest goal for 2017 is to be able to close 30 new standard-paying clients. And in order to do that, I have to be able to hire and train 3 full-time sales people who are at least 80% as good as I am in pitching and follow-ups.

The preparations are looking really well. I already have my ‘soft’ training program in place.

Here we go 2017.
