It was a Tuesday night and I’ve just finished work in the office. I Headed straight for Trinoma. I arranged a meet-up with Liane of betterbloggingforbloggers.com last week. I was amazed at how such a young lady could come up with such an great blogsite.
I stumbled upon her blog when I saw a picture of a young lady who commented on a blog that was introducing his new Wibiya toolbar (I had just also installed mine during that time). I clicked up her name and was delivered straight to her blog site. I surfed it a bit and was intrigued how a 17-year-old could build up such a good blogsite. I just had to contact her.
Fortunately, somewhere in her blog she mentioned she was from the Philippines! (I was beginning to thinkn she was a foreigner, the way she writes and bargains her ad spaces in dollars). So I e-mailed her asking if I could in any way meet-up with her. A few days later, I got her reply! Yay!
So we set up a meet in Trinoma. I know, it’s pretty far from Las pinas, but hey, I work in ortigas so it wasn’t that far during that time. My car was in Shaw – in Lean’s place. Little did I know how sardines-like it’s gonna be in MRT. People were jampacked in the train so tightly, it seemed like it would burst any moment. I waited for about 40 minutes just to get in a train (which was also packed with people but I didn’t want to be late so I had to take it).
Too bad I didn’t bring my camera for this meet-up so I don’t have the appropriate picture for this entry =( awww.
Our talk went great! I learned a lot from her! Hahaha! I feel so newb-like in blogging. She gave me a lot of tips and research topics. We also got to know each other more. Hopefully this won’t be our last meet-up. Liane’s a very gifted and disciplined young lady. She’s a really good researcher and an avid reader. She also writes very well.
