Traction in life

The pandemic crisis has tipped our lives off the balance. I realize there are two kinds of lives right now that’s prevalent – positive and negative.

The positive life seems like the pandemic’s effects on work-from-home is one of the best things that has happened to them because they are productive, successful and fulfilled everyday.

The negative life seems like the pandemic’s effects on work-from-home is one of the worst things because they are oh-so-distracted at home.

If you are one of the people who are living a so-so- or a negative life right now, here is how to turn it around:

Realize the difference between TRACTION and DISTRACTION

Both of them has the word ‘ACTION’ tucked inside – because TRACTION and DISTRACTION are two kinds of ACTIONS. One is positive and one is negative.

TRACTION – Positive action
DISTRACTION – Negative action

Traction is when you are building up positive actions and you’re well on your way to the road of your goals, and ultimately, success. Distraction is when you allow things in life to take you OFF THAT ROAD and get sidetracked to a different direction altogether.

“You cannot change your destination overnight, but you can change your direction overnight.” – Jim Rohn

Your DESTINATION is wherever you set your DIRECTION to be RIGHT NOW.

How does your direction look like?

Does your direction look like an unrecognizable zig-zag because of littered distractions that you allow yourself to take part of everyday?

Or does it look like a straight line to the future you truly desire?

TRACTION and DISTRACTION cannot co-exist. Either you are on the road of one or the other.

If you want a positive life, choose to have traction and take positive action so you can get to the future you desire.
