Sometimes I wonder about this question. It took God 6 days to build our world and create all that is in it – including us human beings. I do believe in my heart that there might be other works that God continues to do after our world has been done.

Author’s Note: These things I’m about to share are my own thoughts, theories and musings. The only things here that are not part of my theories are the Bible verses. It is important for you to take note of this as some of the things I say are not Biblical or doctrinal but are the result of my own meditations.

However what makes ours so special is that God Himself came here to walk and see what’s happening multiple times. And He also planned for a way to redeem us from sin. There was no other way than to sacrifice Himself on a gruesome ordeal on the cross.

The Bible talks about heaven in ways that we cannot begin to imagine. He also showed us that when Jesus rose from the dead, Jesus was able to walk, talk, eat, drink and do the things that we normally do. One thing though that Jesus also did was to appear and disappear at a whim. I don’t know about you but that sounds a lot like teleportation to me.

A lot of people think of heaven as an eternally good but eternally boring place and experience. This for sure is not the case.

God created everything in our world today – and there are so many things that we do enjoy here. We enjoy nature, food, drinks, fellowship, sports, activities, and many other things. I believe heaven has those things and more waiting for us.

Perhaps there’s a billion more worlds out there that God has created – and perhaps not all of them have the same story as ours do. Perhaps there’s a world that did not fall into sin and does not need to be redeemed. These are all my speculations and theories and thoughts but I do think it is possible.

God calls faithful people who has served Him and walked with Him to be kings and rulers – and He says that we will rule with Him someday.

“if we suffer, we shall also reign with Him. If we deny Him, He also will deny us;” – 2 Timothy 2:12 (KJV) [emphasis mine]

And they *sang a new song, saying, “Worthy are You to take the scroll and to break its seals; for You were slaughtered, and You purchased people for God with Your blood from every tribe, language, people, and nation.  You have made them into a kingdom and priests to our God, and they will reign upon the earth.” – Revelations 5:9-10 (NASB) [emphasis mine]

There will no longer be any curse; and the throne of God and of the Lamb will be in it, and His bond-servants will serve Him;  they will see His face, and His name will be on their foreheads.  And there will no longer be any night; and they will not have need of the light of a lamp nor the light of the sun, because the Lord God will illuminate them; and they will reign forever and ever.” – Revelations 22:3-5 (NASB) [emphasis mine]

I’m sharing this with you here just in case you are one of those people who think that heaven would be an eternal but eternally boring place. It is not – it will be full of the great wonders of our world – but even better. A lot, lot better.
